Throughout the site, the terms "we", "us" and "our" refer to Extrait De Sahib. We offer this website, including all information, tools, and Services available from this site, to you, the user, conditioned upon your acceptance of all terms, conditions, policies, and notices stated here.
By visiting our site and/or purchasing something from us, you engage in our "Service" and agree to be bound by the following terms and conditions ("Terms of Service", "Terms"), including those additional terms and conditions and policies referenced herein and/or available by hyperlink. These Terms of Service apply to all users of the site, including without limitation users who are browsers, vendors, customers, merchants, and/or contributors of content.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and Services to you.

5.1 Nature of Fragrance Products
Our products include, but are not limited to, perfumes, eau de parfum, attars (concentrated perfume oils), oud, bakhoor, mukhallat, and related fragrance items. Many of our products contain natural ingredients (including essential oils, resins, and animalic notes such as musk and oud) as well as denatured alcohol, fragrance compounds, and aromatic chemicals. These products are intended for external personal use only.
5.2 Scent Subjectivity and Performance
Fragrance perception is subjective. The way a fragrance smells, projects, and lasts will vary from person to person based on individual skin chemistry, body temperature, hydration, diet, medication, climate, humidity, season, and method of application. Any descriptions of scent notes, longevity, sillage, or projection are provided as general guidance only and are not a guarantee of performance for any individual user.
5.3 Color, Appearance, and Packaging
We have made every effort to display as accurately as possible the colors and images of our products. We cannot guarantee that your computer, tablet, or mobile device's display of any color will be accurate. The actual color, viscosity, sediment, or appearance of natural attars and oud-based products may vary slightly between batches due to the nature of natural ingredients. Packaging, labels, bottle caps, and decorative elements may be updated from time to time and may differ slightly from images displayed on the site.
5.4 Inspired-By Fragrances
Where a product is described as "inspired by", "in the style of", "our impression of", or similar wording referencing another brand or designer fragrance, the product is an independently created fragrance and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or associated with the original designer or brand. All trademarks and brand names referenced on our site remain the property of their respective owners and are used only for descriptive comparison purposes. Our inspired-by products are not the original designer fragrance and we make no claim that they are identical.
5.5 Authenticity and Sourcing
Where products are sold as authentic branded products, we represent that they have been sourced through our suppliers in good faith. Where products are house blends, attars, or oud sourced from various distillers and suppliers, batch variations are normal and expected for natural products.
5.6 Availability and Limits
Certain products or Services may be available exclusively online through the website. These products or Services may have limited quantities and are subject to return or exchange only according to our Refund Policy. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to limit the sales of our products or Services to any person, geographic region, or jurisdiction. We may exercise this right on a case-by-case basis. We reserve the right to limit the quantities of any products or Services that we offer. All descriptions of products or product pricing are subject to change at any time without notice, at our sole discretion. We reserve the right to discontinue any product at any time. Any offer for any product or Service made on this site is void where prohibited.
We do not warrant that the quality of any products, Services, information, or other material purchased or obtained by you will meet your expectations, or that any errors in the Service will be corrected.
SECTION 6 — HEALTH, SAFETY, AND PROPER USE OF FRAGRANCE PRODUCTS
IMPORTANT — PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. Fragrance products may cause allergic reactions, skin sensitization, or irritation in some individuals. By purchasing and using our products, you acknowledge and accept the following:
6.1 Patch Test Required
You agree to perform a patch test before full use of any fragrance, attar, or oil-based product purchased from us. To patch test: apply a small amount of the product to the inside of your forearm or behind the ear, allow it to dry, and wait at least 24 to 48 hours. If any redness, itching, burning, swelling, hives, or other adverse reaction occurs, discontinue use immediately and wash the area with mild soap and water. If symptoms persist or are severe, seek medical attention.
6.2 Ingredient and Allergen Disclosure
Ingredient listings (INCI) are provided on the product page and/or product label where available. Common potential allergens in fragrance products include, but are not limited to: linalool, limonene, citral, eugenol, geraniol, coumarin, benzyl alcohol, benzyl benzoate, oakmoss, treemoss, natural musks, and various essential oils. It is your responsibility to review the ingredient list of every product you purchase and to confirm that you are not allergic or sensitive to any listed ingredient before use. If you have known allergies or sensitivities, you must consult a qualified medical professional before purchasing or using any of our products.

If you are pregnant, breastfeeding, trying to conceive, have a medical condition (including but not limited to asthma, eczema, dermatitis, epilepsy, migraines, or fragrance sensitivity), or are taking medication, you must consult a qualified medical professional before purchasing or using any of our products. We make no representations as to the safety of our products for any specific individual or medical condition.
6.5 Flammability and Storage
Most alcohol-based perfumes, eau de parfum, and sprays are flammable. You must keep these products away from open flames, sparks, lit cigarettes, heaters, and other ignition sources. Store all products in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight and out of the reach of children and pets. Do not puncture or incinerate containers, even when empty.
6.6 Sensitivity to Sunlight (Photosensitivity)
Some fragrance ingredients, particularly citrus oils, may cause photosensitivity. If you apply such products to skin that will be exposed to sunlight, you may experience irritation, discoloration, or burns. Apply to clothing or covered skin where possible, or avoid sun exposure on areas where the product has been applied.
6.7 Discontinue Use If Reaction Occurs
If you experience any adverse reaction including but not limited to redness, itching, swelling, rash, hives, headache, dizziness, nausea, or breathing difficulty after using one of our products, discontinue use immediately, wash the affected area with mild soap and water, and seek medical attention if symptoms are severe or persistent.
6.8 Assumption of Risk
You acknowledge that fragrance products carry an inherent risk of skin reaction and sensitization that cannot be eliminated, and that by purchasing and using our products you voluntarily assume that risk. You agree that we are not responsible for adverse reactions resulting from individual sensitivities, allergies, misuse, or failure to follow the safety instructions in these Terms or on the product label.
SECTION 7 — ACCURACY OF BILLING AND ACCOUNT INFORMATION
We reserve the right to refuse any order you place with us. We may, in our sole discretion, limit or cancel quantities purchased per person, per household, or per order. These restrictions may include orders placed by or under the same customer account, the same credit card, and/or orders that use the same billing and/or shipping address. In the event that we make a change to or cancel an order, we may attempt to notify you by contacting the e-mail and/or billing address/phone number provided at the time the order was made. We reserve the right to limit or prohibit orders that, in our sole judgment, appear to be placed by dealers, resellers, or distributors.
You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate purchase and account information for all purchases made at our store. You agree to promptly update your account and other information, including your email address and credit card numbers and expiration dates, so that we can complete your transactions and contact you as needed.

SECTION 8 — SHIPPING, CUSTOMS, AND IMPORT RESTRICTIONS
Alcohol-based perfumes and certain fragrance products are classified as hazardous goods (HAZMAT) for shipping purposes. As a result:

SECTION 9 — RETURNS, EXCHANGES, AND HYGIENE POLICY
For hygiene, health, and safety reasons, opened or used fragrance products are NON-RETURNABLE and NON-REFUNDABLE. This is consistent with industry standards for personal care and cosmetic goods.
Unopened products in their original, unused, and unaltered condition (including any seals, shrink-wrap, or factory packaging intact) may be eligible for return within [INSERT NUMBER] days of delivery, subject to our Refund Policy. The customer is responsible for return shipping costs unless the product is defective or was sent in error.
Damaged, defective, or incorrect items must be reported to us within 7 days of delivery, with clear photographic evidence of the product, packaging, and shipping label. Please review our Refund Policy for full details.
Allergic reactions or sensitivities are not a basis for refund or return, as patch testing prior to use is the customer's responsibility under Section 6.1 above.
SECTION 10 — OPTIONAL TOOLS
We may provide you with access to third-party tools over which we neither monitor nor have any control nor input.
You acknowledge and agree that we provide access to such tools "as is" and "as available" without any warranties, representations, or conditions of any kind and without any endorsement. We shall have no liability whatsoever arising from or relating to your use of optional third-party tools.
Any use by you of the optional tools offered through the site is entirely at your own risk and discretion, and you should ensure that you are familiar with and approve of the terms on which tools are provided by the relevant third-party provider(s).

Specifically, and without limiting the foregoing, we make no warranty that any fragrance product will be suitable for your skin, will not cause an allergic reaction or irritation, will smell, project, or last in any particular way on your skin, or will match a reference fragrance. Fragrance results are personal and individual.
In no case shall Extrait De Sahib, our directors, officers, employees, affiliates, agents, contractors, interns, suppliers, Service providers, or licensors be liable for any injury, loss, claim, or any direct, indirect, incidental, punitive, special, or consequential damages of any kind, including without limitation lost profits, lost revenue, lost savings, loss of data, replacement costs, medical expenses, or any similar damages, whether based in contract, tort (including negligence), strict liability, or otherwise, arising from your use of any of the Service or any products procured using the Service, or for any other claim related in any way to your use of the Service or any product, including but not limited to any errors or omissions in any content, any allergic reaction, skin irritation, sensitization, or other adverse health effect, or any loss or damage of any kind incurred as a result of the use of the Service or any content (or product) posted, transmitted, or otherwise made available via the Service, even if advised of their possibility.
